Texas Township Farmers Market
Sociologists who study shopping behavior report we have ten times as many conversations at a farmers’ market compared with a supermarket. According to author Bill McKibben, “You go from being a mere consumer to being a participant, talking about what you like and dislike, expanding your sense of who’s in your community and how it fits together.”
