At about 7:00 pm Engine 1111 responded into the City of Portage to cover Station 1 while their units were operating at a 2nd alarm structure fire. On PFD's arrival over half the home was consumed by fire.
Engine 1111 arrived at PFD Station 1 and prepared to respond to any additional calls in the city limits. After about one hour the on scene Battalion Chief requested TTFD's Engine to respond to the scene and assist with overhaul. Engine 1111 cleared the fire just after 10:00 pm
