At 5:00 am an alarm was sounded for the 7000 block of West N Avenue for smoke in a residence.  Engines 1111, 1121 and Tanker 1161 responded with Oshtemo Engine 532 and Portage Tower 1.

TTFD Chief arrived and advised nothing was showing from the exterior however there were electrical problems with in the home.  Crews shut down the interior electrical panel and checked for hot spots in the walls using a thermal imager camera (TIC).  Consumers arrived and advised that the supply line was faulty and began repairs.  All units returned to service in about one hour.
