Shred Day & Electronics Recycling – April 19!
Texas Township is offering residents a safe & secure way to dispose of sensitive documents and old electronics!
Saturday, April 19 | 9 AM – Noon
Texas Township Hall, 7227 West Q Avenue (use Q Ave entrance)
Shred Day:
✔ Limit: 6 standard file-sized boxes per resident
✔ Free service (except for certain items—see website for details)
✔ No binders, bindings, or clips
✔ Residents only—no businesses
✔ Donations to Mattawan Area Food Pantry encouraged! (non-perishable food or cash)
Electronics Recycling (Fees May Apply):
In partnership with Schupan, bring any electronic device with a cord, battery, or circuit board, including:
✔ Household Electronics (phones, DVD players, gaming systems, microwaves)
✔ Computer Components (laptops, hard drives, printers, servers)
✔ Small Appliances (radios, power tools, stereos)
🚨 This is a free service with an exception of CRT Monitors/TVs and LCD TVs. Schupan will be onsite to collect $10/item. They accept cash or credit card.
🚫 Unacceptable items include tires, ammunition, radioactive materials (see full list on our website).
