  • The Township will cover disposal costs up to 10 cubic yards per household.

  • Additional yardage may be dropped off for disposal at the household’s expense: $12 per cubic yard.

  • Proof of residency is required at the time of drop-off.

*This service is intended only for storm-related natural yard waste resulting from this past week’s storms.*

🚫 Not Accepted:

  • Grass clippings or leaves

  • Tree stumps

  • Trash or construction debris

🧱 What Does 10 Cubic Yards Look Like?

To help you estimate your load:

  • 10 cubic yards is roughly the size of a standard pickup truck bed filled 3–4 times (depending on how full it’s packed).

  • It’s about the volume of a compact one-car garage filled knee-high with material.

  • Picture a pile that’s approximately 15 feet long × 6 feet wide × 3 feet high — that equals about 10 cubic yards.

If you bring more than 10 cubic yards, additional material may still be dropped off at your cost: $12 per additional cubic yard.

We recognize that the recent storms caused widespread debris and cleanup needs throughout our community. This special drop-off program is one way the Township is working to assist residents with recovery efforts. If you have any questions, please contact the Township Office at 269-375-1591.
