The Charter Township of Texas is looking for a proactive, community-minded part-time Ordinance Enforcement Officer to uphold our local ordinances and contribute to the safety, aesthetics, and livability of our growing West Michigan community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate complaints and patrol properties for ordinance violations like nuisance issues, property maintenance, signage, and zoning.
- Work one-on-one with residents and property owners to gain voluntary compliance or initiate appropriate enforcement actions.
- Document findings with detailed reports, photographs, and enforcement records.
- Coordinate with other Township departments, attend hearings if needed, and help educate the public on compliance expectations.

Rate of Pay: $24-30/HR
