Emily Meinema was elected as Treasurer in November 2024. Prior to this role, she served as Deputy Treasurer for three years and worked in the Kalamazoo County Treasurer's office for over three years. Emily holds an associate degree in Accounting from Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC). A lifelong resident of Kalamazoo County, she was born and raised in the area, bringing deep local roots and a commitment to serving her community.
