Pickleball Courts

6th Street Park offers eight pickleball courts that are open to the public. The Township does not authorize or allow reservation of the courts. We want to ensure that everyone has a positive experience at the 6th Street Park courts - please be mindful of those waiting to play and use the rotation systems in place. If others are waiting to play, you must limit play to one game* or 20 minutes if you are new/learning or just practicing. Once a game is completed, all players must exit the court and sign up on the whiteboard to play again!

*Games shall be played to 11, win by 2

Whiteboard Rotation System

To help better regulate play so everyone has a positive experience at the courts, the Township has implemented a whiteboard rotation system as a trial for the remainder of 2024. The whiteboard is located between courts 4&5.

How the whiteboard rotation system works:

  1. Write the player names in the first available open square on the whiteboard. The township allows both singles and doubles play. If playing singles, please indicate "singles" or write an "X "in your whiteboard square to show you are not looking for additional players to make a foursome.
  2. When a game finishes, all players exit the court and announce the court is open.
    • If the players exiting the court want to play again, they can sign up on the whiteboard for the next available court.
  3. The group up next on the whiteboard crosses off their square and takes the open court. We recommend writing the court number you are taking on your square so everyone knows where you are playing.
  4. Play is limited to ONE game (games are played to 11, win by 2). If you are new/learning or just practicing, please limit play to 20 minutes.
  5. Once the game is finished, vacate the court and re-sign up on the whiteboard for the next available court!
  6. As the whiteboard fills up, please erase completed games and start fresh.
